Prohibited Content & Content Moderation Policy
Last updated: September 4, 2026
This policy sets out the content and conduct that is not permitted on the FunVertex platform (Part A), and the systems, people and processes FunVertex uses to screen, review, enforce and appeal content decisions (Part B). It applies to every account — Fans, Creators, and anyone else interacting with the Platform — and to every surface: public profiles, feed posts, pay-per-view media, direct messages, mass messages, call features, checkout links, usernames, bios, and any text a user can enter.
This policy forms part of, and is incorporated into, the Terms of Service. Copyright complaints are handled separately under the DMCA / Copyright Policy, and personal data under the Privacy Policy.
Part A — Prohibited Content & Conduct
Uploading, sending, soliciting, linking to, or advertising any of the following is a violation of these rules, whether it happens on a public profile, in a paywalled post, or in a private message.
A1. Age: 18+ only, without exception
FunVertex is an adults-only platform. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live, if higher) to hold an account, and every person depicted, heard, or referenced in uploaded content must have been at least 18 years old when that content was produced.
The following are strictly prohibited and result in immediate, permanent termination:
- Any content that depicts, or appears to depict, a minor in a sexual or sexualised context (child sexual abuse material, "CSAM"), however produced — including drawn, animated, computer-generated, AI-generated, or otherwise synthetic material.
- Content sexualising a real person under 18, whether or not the content itself is explicit.
- Content depicting a real minor in a state of undress, or focusing on the body of a minor in a sexual manner.
- "Age-baiting" presentation — text, tags, usernames, captions, or roleplay framing suggesting a participant is under 18 (for example "teen", "schoolgirl", "just turned 18"), regardless of the performer's actual age.
- Grooming, solicitation of a minor, or any attempt to contact, trade with, or recruit a minor through the Platform.
There is no warning, strike, or appeal path for this category. Accounts are terminated, balances are frozen, evidence is preserved as required by law, and reports are escalated to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and to the relevant law enforcement authorities.
A2. Consent and non-consensual material
Every identifiable person in uploaded content must have knowingly consented both to the recording and to its distribution on FunVertex. You may not upload, send, or solicit:
- Non-consensual intimate imagery ("NCII", revenge pornography), including content originally recorded consensually but shared without the depicted person's permission.
- Hidden-camera, upskirt, voyeur, or otherwise covertly obtained material.
- Content depicting a person who is unconscious, asleep, intoxicated, or otherwise unable to consent.
- Deepfakes, face swaps, voice clones, or other synthetic media depicting a real person in a sexual or intimate context without that person's documented written consent.
- Content re-uploaded from another platform, leak site, or private exchange without the rights to distribute it.
A3. Exploitation, coercion, and trafficking
- Human trafficking, sexual exploitation, forced labour, debt bondage, or content produced under coercion, threat, or duress.
- Content advertising, arranging, or facilitating prostitution, escorting, in-person sexual services, or any exchange of sexual contact for money or goods offline.
- Recruitment into, or advertisement of, third-party "management" arrangements that take control of a Creator's account, identity documents, or earnings.
- Financial exploitation of a vulnerable person, blackmail, sextortion, or threats to publish someone's content or identity.
A4. Violence, harm, and extreme material
- Graphic violence, gore, mutilation, torture, blood-play causing real injury, or the depiction of real death or serious harm.
- Rape or assault themes presented as real, rather than as clearly consensual roleplay between verified adult performers.
- Bestiality or sexual content involving animals; necrophilia or sexual content involving corpses.
- Incest, or content presenting sexual activity between family members, including roleplay framed around familial relationships.
- Content promoting, glorifying, or instructing self-harm, suicide, or disordered eating.
- Terrorist content, violent extremism, or content produced by or promoting a designated terrorist organisation.
- Weapons used to threaten a person, and instructions for producing weapons or explosives.
A5. Illegal goods, drugs, and regulated activity
- Sale, promotion, or arrangement of illegal drugs, controlled substances, prescription medication, firearms, ammunition, or other regulated goods.
- Depiction of hard drug use, or content promoting drug use as part of the paid experience.
- Gambling, lotteries, prize draws, or games of chance offered through the Platform.
- Counterfeit goods, stolen goods, forged documents, or hacked accounts and data.
A6. Harassment, hate, and privacy violations
- Hate speech, or content attacking or dehumanising a person or group on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, disease, age, sex, gender identity, or sexual orientation.
- Targeted harassment, bullying, stalking, or threats of violence against any person.
- Doxxing — publishing another person's personal information without their explicit written consent, including identity documents, home or work address, phone number, financial or medical records, or private messages.
- Sharing another user's private chat content or paid media outside the Platform.
A7. Authenticity, impersonation, and AI disclosure
- Impersonating another person, Creator, brand, FunVertex employee, or public figure — through username, display name, avatar, or content.
- Registering an account with false identity information, or using another person's identity documents to complete verification.
- Uploading content the Creator did not produce and has no right to distribute, and presenting it as their own.
- AI-generated or substantially AI-altered media that is not clearly disclosed as such, and AI persona features used to imply a live human interaction where none exists.
- Artificially inflating engagement, subscriber counts, earnings, or referral rewards — including self-referral, duplicate accounts, and bot traffic.
A8. Payments, fraud, and platform abuse
- Fraudulent payments, use of stolen or unauthorised cards, money laundering, structuring, or use of the Platform to move funds unrelated to content.
- Soliciting or arranging payment outside the Platform in order to avoid platform fees, moderation, or age and identity verification.
- Filing an unmerited chargeback instead of using the process in the Refund & Chargeback Policy.
- Circumventing paywalls, watermarking, geo-restrictions, or account suspensions — including through duplicate accounts, VPN misuse, or automated tooling.
- Scraping, crawling, bulk downloading, reverse engineering, introducing malware, or otherwise interfering with Platform infrastructure.
A9. Public (safe-for-work) surfaces
Profile photos, cover images, display names, bios, public post previews, checkout link pages, and anything visible in Discover or to logged-out visitors are held to a stricter, safe-for-work standard than paywalled content, because they can be seen before a viewer has confirmed their age. On these surfaces the following are not permitted:
- Nudity or implied nudity; exposed genitals, anus, or female nipples, including through sheer or see-through clothing.
- Depiction of a sexual act or penetration, or hyper-sexualised posing focused on the genital area.
- Explicit sexual text, solicitation, or sexual price lists.
- Any age-baiting language as described in A1.
A10. Verification and record-keeping obligations for Creators
Creators must complete identity and age verification — a government-issued identity document plus a liveness selfie check, performed by our verification provider — before their profile can be subscribed to and before any payout is enabled. FunVertex receives a pass or fail result and the verified identity fields; it does not receive or store raw identity document images.
Creators are additionally responsible for:
- Verifying and retaining proof of age and identity for every person appearing in their content, and obtaining a signed consent and distribution release from each of them.
- Complying with the record-keeping and labelling obligations that apply to them, including 18 U.S.C. §2257 where applicable.
- Producing those records to FunVertex on request. Failure to produce them within the time we specify results in removal of the content and may result in suspension.
- Ensuring that anyone appearing in their content who does not hold a FunVertex account is nonetheless verified as an adult and has consented.
Part B — Content Moderation & Protection
B1. Age gating and account screening
Access is restricted to verified adults. Accounts are age-attested at registration, Creators are identity- and age-verified before they can earn, and a Creator profile cannot be subscribed to until that verification has passed. Login events, payment behaviour, and payout requests are monitored for indicators of account takeover, duplicate accounts, and payment fraud.
B2. Automated screening
FunVertex screens uploaded media automatically at two points:
- Before delivery, for direct and mass messages. Photo attachments are classified before the message is stored or delivered, because a message reaches its recipient the moment it is sent. Content that fails is rejected outright and never stored.
- Before publication, for feed and pay-per-view posts. A newly created post is withheld from every public and subscriber-facing view until it has passed moderation. Photos are classified directly; videos are classified from extracted frames. Content that fails is removed and the Creator is notified.
Automated classification covers graphic violence, gore, and weapons, and checks that uploads depicting people are genuine photographic content rather than repurposed or unrelated material.
Separately, uploads are submitted to an accredited third-party child safety provider that performs hash matching against restricted industry databases of known child sexual abuse material, together with a classifier for previously unseen material. A positive signal blocks the upload, triggers an immediate high-severity internal escalation with the uploading account identified, and is handled under B7. A failure of that check is treated as a failure to allow the upload, never as a failure to block it.
B3. Human review
Automated screening is a first pass, not the decision-maker. A trained moderation team reviews reported accounts, posts, profiles, and message threads through an internal review console, with case assignment, priority levels (low, normal, high, urgent), resolution notes, and a per-case history. Every moderation and account action — removal, suspension, balance adjustment, refund, payout rejection — is written to an append-only audit log recording the acting administrator, the target, the reason, and the time.
Administrative access is role-based and separately permissioned: viewing a message thread, suspending an account, refunding a transaction, and approving a payout are distinct permissions, granted individually.
Serious categories — child safety, non-consensual content, trafficking, credible threats of violence — are escalated immediately rather than queued, and are actioned ahead of routine reports.
B4. Reporting a violation
Anyone can report content, and you do not need a FunVertex account to do so.
- In the app: use the report control on the post, profile, or conversation. Reports are categorised as spam, harassment, stolen content, illegal or non-consensual nudity, or other, and are queued for human review with the reported item attached.
- Without an account, or for anything urgent: use the Support Center contact form. Select "Other Legal Inquiry" for illegal content and safety escalations, or "DMCA / Copyright Notice" for copyright.
- If you appear in content you did not consent to, contact us through the Support Center and identify the content. You do not need to prove ownership of the recording to have non-consensual content removed.
You may also block another account at any time, which prevents messaging, following, subscribing, and profile visibility in both directions.
Response times. Reports are acknowledged within 24 hours. Reports alleging child sexual abuse material, non-consensual intimate imagery, trafficking, or an immediate threat to life are triaged as urgent and actioned on receipt, with the content removed while the review is carried out. All other reports are resolved within 7 calendar days.
B5. Enforcement
Action is proportionate to the severity of the violation, the harm caused, and the account's history. Depending on those factors, FunVertex may:
- Remove or restrict the specific content;
- Remove a profile from Discover and public search, or hide it from logged-out visitors, for repeated public-surface violations;
- Restrict features such as messaging, uploading, checkout links, or payouts;
- Suspend the account pending review, or pending production of age and consent records;
- Withhold or reverse earnings attributable to violating content, and hold payouts pending investigation;
- Terminate the account permanently and prevent re-registration;
- Preserve evidence and refer the matter to law enforcement.
Violations under A1, A2, and A3 result in immediate permanent termination without a prior warning.
B6. Appeals
If your content was removed or your account was restricted and you believe the decision was wrong, you may appeal within 14 calendar days of being notified, through the Support Center under "Other Legal Inquiry". Include the account name, the content or action in question, why you believe the decision was mistaken, and any records that support it (for example age verification or consent releases).
Appeals are reviewed by someone who was not involved in the original decision. We aim to issue a decision within 7 calendar days of receiving a complete appeal, and we will tell you the outcome and the reason for it. Where an appeal succeeds, the content is restored and any associated balance adjustment is reversed. Decisions relating to child sexual abuse material are not subject to appeal.
B7. Law enforcement and industry cooperation
FunVertex reports apparent child sexual abuse material to NCMEC and cooperates with law enforcement requests relating to child safety, non-consensual intimate imagery, trafficking, terrorism, and credible threats to life. Where we are required or permitted to do so, we preserve the relevant account data and content for the investigating authority. Handling of personal data in these circumstances is described in the Privacy Policy.
B8. Content protection for Creators
Uploaded photos, and photo and video attachments sent in messages, are watermarked with attribution before they are stored and served. Paid media is served through an authorised endpoint that requires a per-request access token rather than as a publicly addressable file, and paywalled posts are shown to non-purchasers only as a blurred preview. Distributing another Creator's paid content off-platform violates A6 and A8, and is also handled under the DMCA / Copyright Policy.
B9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the Platform, the law, or our payment partners' requirements change. Material changes will be notified in-app or by email, and the "last updated" date above will be revised. Continued use of the Platform after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
B10. Contact
Questions about this policy, safety escalations, and law enforcement requests can be sent through the Support Center, selecting "Other Legal Inquiry".
